This theatrical journey follows Phileas Fogg and his servant, Passepartout, as they set out to beat the clock in a race around the world. Five actors portray 39 characters from this classic novel, in an adaptation that's been called "ingenious and imaginative" and "a ton of fun for all ages."

SYLVIA

An audience favorite at DTC, SYLVIA is the hilarious story of Greg, who brings home a dog he's found in the park, and the ensuing adjustments that he's forced to make to his life and marriage. This play examines the complicated relationships between husbands and wives, and the pets that love them.

THREE DAYS OF RAIN

A brother, sister and family friend meet to divide the legacy of their late fathers, while they search for clues to their parents' relationships with one another. Part mystery, part family drama, this searing play examines the choices that parents make, and how those choices affect and haunt their children. A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

A CAPELLA HUMANA: MUSIC OF THE SOUL

A mythical journey that explores the power and boundaries of the human voice and its ability to make war, bring peace and celebrate our common humanity. This new musical blends innovative compositions with world music, from Baroque, jazz, and secular, to sacred, Broadway and hip hop. Written and directed by DTC artist Kevin Ramsey, whose musicals Fire on the Bayou and Sam Cooke: Forever Mr. Soul have thrilled DTC audiences in recent seasons.

AND NEW IN 2010-2011

The first in our new series of Plays For Young Audiences! We will be producing a play for young audiences, in conjunction with school curriculumns and standards, to run for 2-3 weeks of student matinees and family performances. Directed by Johanna Schloss, this play will introduce hundreds of children in the area to professional theatre, and will develop DTC's future audience and education programming.
