Beginning Acting II for Adults
(ages 18 and up)

This course is for beginning actors who want to try working on scripted scenes and/or monologues in a welcoming environment.  Students also take part in theatre exercises to build expressiveness in body and voice, and some of these exercises are partner- or group-based.  Students will also get a chance to analyze and interpret a script and find ways to bring the scene to life through guided feedback from the instructor.

Scene Study for Adults
(ages 18 and up)

This course is for actors who are comfortable in front of a group and who have at least some experience in performance. Students in this class will work with scripted scenes and/or monologues and will experience "directed rehearsal" techniques guided by the instructor in front of other class members.  Students may also try a variety of techniques for interpreting a scene based on the analysis of the script.  The Scene Study instructor fosters a friendly and supportive environment, but the course is not intended for the student who is a true beginner.
