Casting
for professional
actors
Casting
for professional
actors is
conducted through Stephanie Klapper Casting. Throughout the year,
Equity actors visiting from out of town are welcome to request an
audition appointment. Out of town actors who want an appointment should

Actors can submit their
headshots and resumes and they will be held in
our
casting files for three years. Delaware Theatre Company hires Equity
performers under a LORT D contract.

Script Submission Policy
Thank you for your interest in submitting a script to Delaware Theatre Company. DTC only accepts scripts submitted by literary agents at this time. We regret that we are unable to read unsolicited scripts and those not submitted by literary agents, including letters of inquiry, summaries, or page excerpts. Read time for solicited materials is approximately six months. We are interested in new full-length plays/musicals with an approximate maximum cast size of ten actors.

Event Planning
DTC is looking for dedicated
volunteers to help plan our two major fundraising events: Delaware
Theatre
Company Wine Feast & Auction and The
Barefoot Ball. The following
opportunities are available: 1. Our
volunteer committees solicit donations of
goods and services for our live and silent auctions, help organize
event
marketing and promote ticket sales. This is a terrific way to work with
an
energetic, fun crowd and help out DTC in its annual
fundraising. 2.
Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas the
day of each event. From taking tickets
to helping with the live auction, your help is invaluable to the
success of
every event.
